Introducing…Meet Maury

In response to the growth of Maury County as new residents move into town, the Maury County Chamber & Economic Alliance, together with the Leadership Maury Board of Trustees has launched a new program – Meet Maury. The inaugural class will kick off on September 10th and we are accepting applications now. In this four-week program, participants will be introduced to the rich history, culture, natural resources, institutions and opportunities within our county while connecting with leaders and actively involved community members.

Meet Maury was created for residents of Maury County who have recently moved to the area. It is designed to educate and integrate new residents into the culture and community of Maury County.

The purpose of the Meet Maury program is to:

  • showcase the strengths of Maury County
  • highlight opportunities for engagement and participation in the community
  • equip participants to make a positive impact on where they live, work, and play
  • connect with community leaders and active community members

Meet Maury will run from September to October 2019 and involvement in some activities outside of the scheduled class days will be required. The fee is $125 per person and each session is limited to 25 participants.

In order to be considered for selection, a completed application must be submitted to kwilliams@mauryalliance.com by August 23rd. Participation in Meet Maury is limited to new residents of Maury County that have moved to the area within the last two years.
