Teacher Appreciation Week is here, and we’re celebrating with a little friendly competition! From April 27 – May 8, your morning coffee or local shopping spree can turn into a big win for your favorite school. Through our Local First Gift Card program, we’re donating a portion of every purchase to the school that rallies the most support. It’s a win-win-win: you get the gift, local businesses get the love, and our educators get the funding they deserve.

How to Help Your School Win:
1. Grab a Card: Purchase a Local First Gift Card between April 27 and May 8.
2. Cast Your Vote: Select your school at checkout. (Ordering online? No problem—just let us know your school of choice when you swing by for pickup!)
3. Spread the Word: Tell your PTA, your neighbors, and your favorite clubs. The school with the most purchases takes home the donation!

How to Purchase:

Local First gift cards can be purchased through Maury Alliance in person, by telephone - 931.388.2155, or online and picked up at 106 West 6th Street. All major credit cards, checks, and cash are accepted.

Why Purchase:

Maury County Local First Gift Cards are Maury Alliance’s way of promoting local businesses and members by encouraging gift giving that keeps dollars in Maury County. With over 70 participating retailers and restaurants, they are the perfect gift for anyone on your list. Unlike a traditional gift card (For example a Master Card or VISA gift card) the money is guaranteed to stay in Maury County and supports local business.

How Local Gift Cards Work:

Local First Gift Cards may be used at any participating business in Maury County. The entire card must be used in one transaction, though participating merchants may choose to give store credit for any remaining amount if the recipient’s total does not equal the face value of the card.
