Maury County lures builders, buyers with good schools, affordability

Deanna and Ron Damesworth moved into their new home in Columbia last May. Like a growing number of home buyers, they wanted to live in Maury County, where home prices are more affordable than in neighboring Williamson County.

“I’m not a status person who has to be in a certain place,” said Deanna Damesworth.

The couple moved in the 1990s from Franklin to the Maury County side of Spring Hill. After deciding to downsize last spring, they moved to Arden Village, a Regent Homes community in Columbia.

“This is home. People are out walking. They stop and talk. We weren’t looking for the hustle and bustle, but it’s following us,” said Deanna Damesworth.  To see more click here635814801041631144-NAS-RealEstMaury-110-01
