We shared a jam-packed schedule of incredible opportunities to grow and connect:
- Holiday Prep for Businesses Lunch & Learn with Rachel Hughes on July 30
- Financial Planning for 2026 workshop with TSBDC on September 24
- Chamber Coffee at aMuse’um on July 9
- Grant Writing Workshop at CSCC on July 14
- Size Up Maury Lunch & Learn (hybrid!) on July 16, including a live tutorial
- Chamber Connect at The Mulehouse on July 21
- WIB Coffee at Baker Group on July 29
- YP Coffee at TriStar Bank in Mt. Pleasant on July 31
- Strolling on 6th continues through October (with August entertainment to be announced soon!)
Heads up: Strolling on 6th event rain plans will be communicated by noon on event days, so stay tuned to Chamber channels.
Local First Gift Cards: Are You In?
We reviewed the Local First Gift Card program — which helps keep spending right here in Maury County. So far this year:
- $4,385 in first-quarter sales
- $8,380 in second-quarter sales
If your business isn’t yet part of this program, now is the time to join and get in on this local boost!
Spreading the Word: Marketing Updates
We shared updates on the Local First Holiday Guide for this year:
- We will be offering ad placements in the guide.
- Participating businesses will have first priority on ad space. If there are remaining spots, these will open to the entire Chamber membership.
- Expect more information in late September on ad pricing and required details for your business listing.
- The guide will be printed and distributed in early November, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
