As the leading voice for business and industry in Maury County, it is our duty to educate the community on important issues facing the area. Maury County continues to see unprecedented growth, having just been ranked 2nd in the state and 29th in the United States for Incoming Investment and 2nd in the state and 18th in the United States for New Building Permits. Now more than ever it is important that as a community we make ourselves aware of the issues surrounding us so that we can make educated decisions on the people we elect into office.
The Maury Alliance Public Affairs Committee has compiled a nonpartisan voter guide for the upcoming August 2nd election to ensure voters have the information they need to make an informed decision. Candidates were given eight questions, created by the committee, based on a membership survey conducted by Maury Alliance in May. Candidates then submitted their responses, which have not been edited or altered in any way. We hope that this information provides insight and knowledge to help voters make an informed decision on August 2nd.
