2026 KPI Report Now Available

We are proud to announce the release of the 2026 Economic Development Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Report. This report exists to provide a comprehensive snapshot of the economic health and momentum in Maury County

The annual KPI report serves to answer three questions:

  1. Is Maury County growing?
  2. Is Maury County growing wealthier?
  3. Is Maury County developing the talent necessary to remain competitive?

What is Inside the Report?

The annual KPI report is made up of three primary sections:

Maury County Economic Development KPIs

This is a local view of 13 key indications measuring population growth, income, workforce development, housing trends, and more.

Tennessee Benchmarking

This section is a side-by-side comparison of Maury County with peer communities across the state of Tennessee. It includes communities we compete with on a regular basis for economic development projects. Given that Maury County is part of the Nashville Metropolitan Service Area (MSA), data for the MSA as a whole is also included.

National Benchmarking

  • demographics
  • proximity to metropolitan areas
  • industrial makeup

This gives us valuable insight into how we are doing as a county on a national scale (especially as we position Maury County as a top-tier location for business investment).

Why is the KPI Report Important?

The KPI Report serves as a data tracking tool, as well as a resource for community members, local officials, site selectors, and industry leaders. Using this report allows us to ensure we are aligning our strategies with measurable outcomes while maintaining Maury County’s reputation as a competitive, future-ready community.
