Maury Alliance is proud to announce the release of the 2025 Economic Development Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Report, providing a comprehensive snapshot of Maury County’s economic health and momentum.
Now in its third year, this annual report was created to move beyond traditional economic development metrics like job creation and capital investment announcements. Instead, it answers three key questions that get to the heart of a thriving community:
- Is Maury County growing?
- Is Maury County growing wealthier?
- Is Maury County developing the talent necessary to remain competitive?
What’s Inside the Report
The 2025 report includes three primary sections:
- Maury County Economic Development KPIs
A local view of 13 key indicators measuring population growth, income, workforce development, housing trends, and more. All numbers reflect 2023 data except where indicated. - Tennessee Benchmarking
A side-by-side comparison of Maury County with peer counties across Tennessee, including those we regularly compete with for economic development projects. The Nashville MSA, of which Maury is a part, is also included. This section highlights how Maury County is performing in comparison to larger, competitive markets—and in many cases, punching above our weight. - National Benchmarking
This section compares Maury County to counties across the U.S. that share similar demographics, proximity to metro areas, and industrial makeup. These benchmarks offer valuable insight into how we stack up nationally as we position Maury County as a premier location for business investment.
