The South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance is going to the White House to show off its creativity next month.
The local group, which matches employers to job seekers, won recognition through a nationwide competition to generate ideas about workforce development. Eighty teams entered, and only 10 were selected to visit Washington.
“We just found out we’re going, and we’re all thrilled,” Workforce Alliance Executive Director Jan McKeel told The Daily Herald.
