ORGANIZATIONAL WIDE FOCUS

Support the school system in improving student performance and provide resources to substantially improve the perception of Maury County’s educational opportunities
Benchmark Maury County against other peer counties to identify strengths and weaknesses to further our strategic planning efforts
Assist Columbia, Mt. Pleasant and Spring Hill in their retail recruitment efforts

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT 
Host Industry Summit and TN Achieves mentor recruitment events
Facilitate the development of unique training programs between industry and education partners
Further develop relationships with area workforce team partners
Share appropriate workforce related information gained from existing industry interviews with workforce team partners
Connect both new and existing industry with the South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance team

EXISTING INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT
Conduct 40 existing industry visits
Host four existing industry education/support events
Support the development of unique training and talent attraction programs
Connect existing industry with the South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance team
Outbound calls to Company headquarters when appropriate
Respond rapidly to assist new/existing business development leads
Conduct outbound visits to “hot projects” when appropriate
Begin research into CRM / Project management tools
Develop data tools, info packets, and infrastructure information to increase both response times and quality
Host regional brokers and real estate agents to “Welcome to Maury County” events
Leverage Site Selectors Guild conference in Nashville
Outbound calls to Site Selection Consultants and Regional Brokers
Outbound trips to trade shows and other events relevant to our target industries
Continuous cultivation of strategic relationships and strategic information
Create a first class “Welcome to Maury County” video

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Respond rapidly to assist new/existing business development leads

Create and deliver Maury County Trends Report
Conduct research and packaging of strategic information

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Finalize design and construction of Cherry Glen Spec building
Submit TNECD Property Evaluation Program application
Define, Brand, and Market “Innovation Area”
Work with local and industry partners to locate and develop new sites
Advocate for Maury County related to regional transportation planning
